My gas boiler is coming to the end of it’s life, what should I replace it with? Should I be looking at heat pumps?

      Many thanks in advance,

      Caroline

        Hi Caroline.

Yes, a heat pump is a fantastic replacement for a gas boiler that is coming to the end of its life.

The best place to start would be with a renewable energy assessment through one of our approved service providers. We also provide a discount voucher for this service, backed by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.

You can find out more about our vouchers and service providers here: Up to £250 Off an Energy Efficiency Survey

        Thanks,

        Tom

Certainly worth considering a heat pump, but every property is different. Heat pumps can take a bit longer to get installed  than boilers (due in part to lead in times) So worth planning before the boiler stops working on the coldest week of the year. Or you will just end up with another boiler for convenience.
